Our Team

Iona Shipmanagement Ltd. is a company registered and operating under Cyprus Law. It was founded on 6th October, 2005 with registered office in Limassol, Registration No. HE165679.

Directors of the Company are:

IONA was established late 2005, and started operations January 1st, 2006. Ever since it resulted in a steady growth, now managing a total of 25 vessels. Amongst these are container ships, cement carriers, ro-ro vessels, and general cargo ships.

The Company has the backing of a German group of Companies.

Our offices are based in Cyprus, a country rating amongst the top three in the International Maritime World and well known for its Shipping and other Marine related services.

We are found at the outskirts of the Maritime Centre of Limassol, in a small but very nice glass-building of a quiet neighbourhood, but the essence is not in big offices but in the quality of the services we are offering/providing to our clients. In today's expanded boundaries of business world, you can be a "relatively small company that does big things."

Our Crewing Department has 2 experienced Crew Operators and the Accounting Department is staffed by a Chief Accountant and an Accountant, both with previous experience in shipping companies.

Our management agreements with ship owners are calculated on a "cost plus" basis which, through our many years of experience in this business, has proven to be the most effective way of operation especially from the viewpoint of the Ship-owner who can thus trace all costs by documentation.

For this purpose, with effort and dedication, we have managed to create a hard-working, close-knit culture where we have become part of an extended "team" of each individual client.
