Iona - Where does the name come from?
Iona is a small island situated off the west coast of Scotland.
It is only 3 miles long and 1.5 miles wide and is car free! Saint Columba travelled to the island from Ireland in the sixth century and established a monastery there.
We chose the name 'Iona' Shipmanagement because of the shareholders' Scottish roots and close family ties with Scotland.
